PLAYROOM INSPIRATION by POTTERY BARN KIDS
I want to make my tiny dining room into a play room/ class room for the girls.
(I don't like the word class room- too schooly for our unschooling blood.)
How about Resource Room. That sounds better.
Project Room, Creativity Room, Fun Room, Mad Scientist Lab, Paint Studio,
Only Room In The House Where We Can Freely Make Enormous Messes.
Whatever label we choose, we are far from anything of the sort.
If I had to label the room right now, it would have to be...
"Room Full Of Boxes That Haven't Been Unpacked Yet and Other Random Junk That Doesn't Have a Place to Go Anywhere Else or Someone Was Just Too Lazy to Put It Away and Hoped It Would Go Unnoticed Disguised Amidst the Other Mess"... Room.
But, I am going to put positive vibes out into the universe, think happy thoughts, and drool over all the fantasy play rooms at Pottery Barn Kids!
We can do this!

I love it! Oh, in a world with a housekeeper and room designer, my house could look like that too, but I don't have that kind of help... I struggle with the "label" our our room too....who has time to organize and unpack anyway when there are so many FUN things to do with the girls??
ReplyDeleteYou've probably already seen this, but if not--you'll love it. Be sure to check out all the links within the post as well. ;)
